Postdoctoral Associate in Transplantation Immunology

The Thomson lab at the Thomas E. Starzl Transplantation Institute and Departments of Surgery and Immunology at the University of Pittsburgh is seeking well-qualified applicants for postdoctoral fellowship positions in the field of transplantation tolerance research. NIH-funded studies focus on the use of cutting-edge molecular and cell biological techniques to evaluate the roles of both dendritic cells and T lymphocytes in regulation of alloimmunity and the promotion of tolerance. Ongoing investigations include basic and translational aspects of tolerance induction and first-in-human studies of transplant patients receiving regulatory immune cell therapy. The successful applicant will work closely with other investigators in a supportive environment conducive to successful career development.
