Cross-dressing drives Graft Rejection: Paper Published in the Journal of Clinical Investigation

The Oberbarnscheidt / Lakkis / Morelli groups have published a paper in the Journal of Clinical Investigation highlighting the role of antigen-transfer (intact MHC) from donor cells in islet and kidney grafts to host dendritic cells. These cross-dressed host dendritic cells then sustain effector T cell responses locally and precipitate rejection.

This paper will be presented during the next AST/AJT Journal Club on Thursday, March 12 at 2 PM EST.
